Over 25 Years of Rangers Helping Rangers

The mission of the Virginia State Park Employee Benevolence Association is to advocate for the general welfare of state park employees through fostering relationships among its members, promoting benevolent programs, and working proactively to improve employees’ professional and personal quality of life.

The VSPEBA regularly fulfills this mission by providing financial assistance to state park employees, and their immediate family, for hardships created by illnesses, accidents, natural disasters and other unforeseen crises. Additionally, the association provides scholarships to active members, and their dependents, through the Mark E. Hufeisen Memorial Scholarship fund for those attending college and trade schools.
