Associate membership in the VSPEBA includes all staff of Virginia State Parks and Breaks Interstate Park and is not dependent on employee classification or payment of membership dues.  All associate members are eligible for VSPEBA assistance.

Assistance is typically provided for a member of the State Parks family who has incurred a sudden urgent financial need.  Examples are:  an unexpected sudden illness; an accident resulting in personal injury or property damage; a natural disaster resulting in home or property damage; or other unforeseen circumstance resulting in a financial hardship.  Each request will be considered on its own merit and decisions will be made on a case by case basis. The decision of the VSPEBA Board is final.
