Membership
By becoming a member of the Virginia State Park Employee Benevolence Association you have the opportunity to vote in elections and apply for scholarships for yourself, or your dependents. The collection of dues helps to cover the administrative costs of the association like those associated with IRS reporting requirements and the maintenance of the website. The dues to be a member of VSPEBA are $10 annually and cover membership for a calendar year (January through December).
Who is eligible for membership
Per VSPEBA bylaws, salaried or 1500 hour wage employees of Virginia State Parks and Breaks Interstate Park can be active members of the VSPEBA. Retired employees of Virginia State Parks and Breaks Interstate Park can be retired members of the VSPEBA.
Who is eligible for assistance from the VSPEBA? Associate membership in the VSPEBA includes all staff of Virginia State Parks and Breaks Interstate Park and is not dependent on employee classification or payment of membership dues. All associate members are eligible for VSPEBA assistance. All active members and their dependents are eligible for the Mark E. Hufeisen Memorial Scholarship fund
