Donations
The generous donations from State Park staff, alumni, family and friends continue to be an important part of the fundraising efforts of the VSPEBA. The Virginia Association For Parks, “Friends of” groups, and other supportive organizations have also been major contributors to the association. It doesn’t matter the amount of the donation, every contribution matters! Please consider making a donation to support the effort of “Rangers Helping Rangers”.
The VSPEBA is a benevolent organization that holds the tax exempt status of a 501(c)5 organization. VSPEBA is required to have this IRS status due to the nature of the organization and its ability to conduct business, receive donations, and raise monies for programs that benefit others. Donations to organizations in the 501(c)5 tax exempt status are not tax deductible. Nearly 100% of all funds raised by the association, including donations, goes to assist State Park family members that are in urgent need of financial assistance.
